We are excited to offer convenient next-day home delivery 7 days a week (excluding some stat holidays) within the following communities:
- City of Calgary
- Cochrane
- Airdrie
- Chestermere
- Okotoks
- Langdon
- Bragg Creek

We also offer home delivery service within the following communities:
- Strathmore (Every Wednesday)
- Red Deer, Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Lacombe, Crossfield, Carstairs, Didsbury, Bowden, Innisfail, Olds and areas (Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday)
- High River (second Sunday of every month)
- Turner Valley / Millarville / Black Diamond (first Monday of each month)

EDMONTON AND AREA - Cut Off is the midnight before delivery

- Orders will be delivered to Edmonton & area Clients three days a week, on TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS and SUNDAYS (Cut off example is Monday at 11:59pm for Tuesday delivery)
- Orders are delivered directly to the local address that you provide at checkout (home address or business address)
- Your delivery will arrive between 10am and 8pm, delivered by our own Modern K9 vans & drivers. You’ll receive text and/or email notifications keeping you updated on the status of your delivery.
- We will continue to service the same delivery area (Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Gibbons, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Enoch, Leduc, Beaumont, and areas) including rural addresses. We will also be looking at expanding our delivery area to ensure we try to accommodate our Clients as much as geographically possible.

STANDARD DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS FOR BOTH CALGARY AND EDMONTON
- Routes are generated based on the most the efficient way - We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery time for your order, or accommodate requests for a specific delivery time.
- You will receive the following alerts via text and/or email
- An estimated delivery window of 2 hours (you are scheduled in the middle of that window.
- An alert when your delivery is approximately 30 minutes away and you can see where the driver is.
- An alert when the order is delivered. We do NOT ring or knock since everyone has dogs, and we rely on the alerts to notify you.
- Please ensure that you have made arrangements to get your order to your freezer as soon as it's been delivered.
- Consider placing a suitably-sized cooler box (or freezer) in a conspicuous place on your doorstep where we can place your order. You must include in your order notes to put into the cooler.

All deliveries are made to the first point of access at the delivery location (front step/porch, outside gate, main complex door, concierge, etc.). Due to insurance liability, the drivers are generally unable to enter houses or apartment buildings.
- Attention Apartment Deliveries!! We do not bring it up to your apartment (due to liability as noted above). Once "buzzed" in, it may be left inside the entryway, or near the mailboxes or parcel room
- If you do not "buzz" the driver in, your order will be left at the door either outside or inside the vestibule. We are not responsible for stolen deliveries.
- For the safety of your pets and the drivers, the drivers will not open gates into fenced yards and will not enter yards with any loose animals.
- We do not accept any responsibility for orders that thaw or are stolen after they've been delivered, or are delivered to an address entered incorrectly by the customer.
- Our delivery system (times, methods, available days, charges, etc.) are subject to change.
Cut Off Clarification:
You may have started shopping before midnight, but processed payment after midnight. If there are no notes, we generally won't send it out as you expected. So please add notes if you are past cut off or close to cut off.
The route is made automatically. The van is loaded and ready to leave prior to the store opening. Therefore, notes on orders or emails sent to customerservice@modernk9.ca is the only way to alter orders short notice. We cannot guarantee we can accommodate all requests, we do our best.
Add on to delivery orders can be placed as a "pick up" with notes to add to delivery. Please add notes to that order, and also disregard "pick up" notifications. We have no way of altering those notifications.
